MAYFIELD is a series of twenty-one small yet captivating cascades scattered along the Mayfield River, a tributary of the Cabarita River. These natural wonders are located in the picturesque Glenbrook area, in the western part of Jamaica, in the Westmoreland district. It is one of the most popular natural destinations for relaxation and tourism, where visitors can enjoy not only the beauty of nature but also the cool waters cascading over rocky ledges.
The tallest cascade, known as the "Washing Machine," is the highest among all the waterfalls in the series. Its height is 3 meters, and the water falls from this height, creating a powerful flow that resembles the motion of a washing machine. This cascade is large enough to allow visitors to even stand underneath it, which is one of the main attractions of the site. The Mayfield Waterfalls are surrounded by lush jungles, adding to their magical appearance, and attracting tourists looking for tranquility and relaxation in nature.
